A space
to restore

In order to preserve the heritage gem that is All Saints Church and make the space accessible for activities that benefit the village and regional population, CCA members quickly embarked on a gradual restoration of the building.

Since its founding, the CCA has undertaken a respectful restoration of the former All Saints Anglican Church. A few urgent interventions were necessary to ensure the safety of the building.

Several projects are planned for the coming years, with the aim of preserving the key elements of the building and developing the space to enrich its potential uses.

First achievements of the CCA

The first phase of work to bring the building up to code will be carried out starting in the summer of 2022, thanks to a grant from the Pacte Brome-Missisquoi and support from the municipality of Abercorn.

The electrical system has been refurbished and an emergency exit has been installed at the rear of the church with the required signage, in accordance with the recommendations of the Régie du bâtiment.

It should also be noted that on December 24, 2023, in Abercorn, the bells of All Saints Church rang again on Christmas Eve, after many years of silence.
