Diverse activities
The CCA hosts a variety of activities in the former All Saints Church. Sometimes the CCA initiates and organizes the activities itself. Other times, the space is made available to event promoters looking for a venue to host their activities.
Some examples
- Participation in National Religious Heritage Days;
- Benefit concert for Ukrainian families who have recently settled in the region, organized by the ACPA (Association de la Culture et du Patrimoine d'Abercorn);
- Educational activity on the history of the village organized by the municipality of Abercorn;
- End-of-year concerts by the Sutton Music School;
- General meetings of the CCA, ACPA, and FADOQ;
- Ceremony marking the donation of land by a citizen through the Mont Pinacle Land Trust;
- Concerts organized by the non-profit organization Abercorn Lyrique;
- Residency and puppet show (Philippe Chauveau and Marie-Claude Favreau);
- Exhibitions of works by local artists on the walls of the church during several events;
- Organization of Christmas markets (2023-2024);
- Citizen information meeting on the development project for Thibault Nord and des Églises streets (Abercorn);
- Opening and closing of the CCA summer season with the duo Stage Time (Linda Wand and Serge Racicot);
- Organization of a Flea market.
