JPR/RHD - Tricot Graffiti rappel
In 2013, Abercorn became passionate about a folk art project that was seen and appreciated by more than 3,000 people and gained international recognition thanks to the Internet.
The Abercorn Cultural Center (CCA) is taking advantage of Religious Heritage Days at All Saints Church to commemorate this event that brought our village together.
Don't be surprised to see All Saints Church decorated with various wool paintings starting September 1, just as the Little Red Schoolhouse was in 2013.
This ambitious project, initiated by Abercorn resident Lise Goad and supported by a team of volunteers backed by the ACPA (2013), will be celebrated and presented on Saturday, September 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at All Saints Church by those who participated at the time.
Videos, photos, and numerous exhibits will bring this memorable moment in the village of Abercorn back to life.
